Judith Enriquez

PhD in Education

I am a mother and grandmother who has led a professional career in higher or tertiary education for the last 25 years. I have taught in the Philippines (the country of my birth), Malaysia, USA and the UK where I obtained my postgraduate qualifications in Education and where, one would say time-wise, I have settled or established my roots.

Here's a short bio-story

I have focused my academic life on networks of the digital kind, those that connect with wires, cables, and electricity. The lockdown months had forced me to re-turn to planetary ways and feel my being fully entangled with the earth underneath my walking feet and the atmosphere that sustains my breath.

This stewardship will allow me to respond to the Earth’s call to action to return to my roots and its ecological networks that give life by engaging with the regenerative practices of nature through indigenous knowledge, practices, including mycellial ways of relating and being.

It will allow me to apply my academic focus on literacies and mobilities of learning in ways that bind my work to Earth’s bounds.
